she has been responsible for legal oversight and management of real estate and corporate activities in support of commercial real estate transactions, loan and financing transactions, sale and disposition of developed properties, leasing transactions for retail tenants, operating and joint venture agreements and entity formation and corporate compliance.
Carolyn’s work as Executive Director of Funding the Future takes advantage of her business and legal acumen and her passion for and commitment to community service. Supporting and furthering Funding the Future’s mission and vision is a privilege and an opportunity to play a role in educating young people about the importance of financial literacy. She has continuously been involved and engaged with nonprofit work, including as a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, (Chair of Pro-Bono and Small Law Group Committees), CBA (Real Estate, Construction, ADR and Business Sections), DBA (CBA-DBA Professionalism Coordinating Counsel), BBA, ABA, Access to Justice Commission (Professionalism, New Lawyers, and Pro Bono Committees and Lawyers Wellness Task Force), BBB Arbitrator, BCAP Board of Directors (Board Chair and Chair of Development Committee), County Counsel BCDP, and SVP Boulder County Encore Fellowships program.
