Lydia Hamilton

Board of Directors
Lydia Hamilton recruits, supports and helps oversee financial advisors and associates with the West Division of RBC Wealth Management.
Lydia's financial services career began in 2016 with Raymond James Marketing at the firm's corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. She advanced into financial planning and administrative roles for the brokerage’s Rocky Mountain Complex in Colorado before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2022, where she holds a leadership position with the firm’s Women Empowered employee resource group along with her SIE and Series 7 licenses.

Lydia joined the board of Funding the Future in 2017, serving as Vice President in 2019 and Secretary in 2020, 2021 and 2023. A proud alumna of the Universities of Florida and South Florida, Lydia boasts a diverse journalism background that comprises myriad newsroom roles at the Tampa Bay Times and other print publications.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Lydia lives in the Denver metro area with her husband, two teens and two dogs. She spends her free time hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking and photographing the nature and wildlife of Colorado.
