Prior to joining Funding the Future as Executive Director in 2020, Alisha spent 25 years building a successful career with the world's largest brick-and-mortar retailer. During her time with Walmart, Alisha served as Intern Manager, Store Manager and Market Human Resources Manager. She also remained involved in the communities in which she lives and works.

Alisha has been a member of the board of directors of Safe Harbor in Cheyenne, Wyoming, since 2014. She has also served as a board member for the United Way in Williston, North Dakota, and as spokesperson for Southwest Regional Public Health, Pathways to Health, in Dickinson, North Dakota.
A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Alisha earned her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In addition, Alisha is a licensed Wyoming UST Class AB Operator, and has been licensed by both SafeServe and FEMA.
